The belly shelf
Allie has discovered that a large belly makes a handy shelf for food. Great for morning cereal and the paper.

Baby Shower!!!
Auntie's Chelsea, Michele and Ann threw us an awesome baby shower on June 14th!! They not only decorated it with love and care to match our baby room, they not only had all of my favorites like bagels and lox and chocolate covered oreos (handmade by Rob - yum yum) BUT they also ordered an amazing Kalua Fudge Snoopy cake from Tiki's Tasties, the same woman who did our wedding cake!! I am doubly blessed to have had so many friends there - some who drove in from Jax and Panama City - and even Vince and baby Natalie joined the fun! It was truly, the best day ever!! Even without all the presents - which I confess, I had a bawl opening, all that baby stuff is just so dang fun to play with -- it was just a fun party and I'm so grateful to all who joined us and of course, to the three most amazing baby shower planners in the world!!!

The Snoopy gang
Fran got us these at the shower. WW I fighter plane pilot Snoopy is the coolest of course. Now I'll be scouring toy stores for a Sopwith Camel to complete the set. We are still trying to translate the Chinese newspaper they came wrapped in ...

Allie's dinner
For the record, this is dinner: ice cream cake and a Breyer's ice cream cookie sandwich, topped with caramel and mini chocalate chips. Doc says we've got to gain a pound a week from here on, and doctor knows best!

8 months and Baby Room Done!!
Daddy test pilots the baby chair!!
Changing table and Dresser!
Meet the newest member of our family - our lovely leather rocker recliner :)
Cozy reading area, accented with the handmade quilt from Aunt Michele!
View from the doorway! The wall is not that dark green, its just the way it photographs with the flash. The green wall is more of a sage green.
Well, pretty much - all the major things are in and set up - minus the actual baby!! We are thrilled with how fun and cozy it is and cant wait to accent it with little touches that will make it even more of a perfect new home for our little one. Today marks 32 weeks - 8 months!! Crazy to think we are here after those first few rough months - but man, we are excited and ready for the next two. So is Sol, he spends a majority of his day bumping and thumping around - in the morning he has his yoga routine, afternoon comes his play time, then late afternoon/early evening is his karate or tae kwon do and of course, as mommy is falling asleep, baby is tossing and turning himself :) Most of the time we love feeling and even seeing him - he does have a habit of stretching or kicking into my bladder - that gets a bit, um, uncomfortable, but again, its all worth it. He even "punches back" when you poke the tummy - pretty darn cool. Can't wait for grandma and grandpa to visit this weekend and see the tum-thumping!

Snoopy test pilots the car seat
Dad and Lynne surprised us with the car seat tonight, so we decided to test it on Snoopy. Close fit, but Fleming boys actually have larger noses.
