30 weeks - the home stretch!!

A 30 Week Belly!!

Sol's Girlfriend Natalie - isnt she gorgeous!!

Vince discovered that tickling Baby Natalie's feet was funny indeed!

John is getting some pre-Solly practice!!

This week was a great milestone - 30 weeks means we have 10 weeks ( or less!!) to go!! Doc appt went great -- all on target and as my doc likes to say, "Perfect!". I did ask him if there was a way we can make this 6 weeks since its already super hot and I'm already having to camp out in front of air conditioner vents. He just laughed with that " oh, you poor stupid woman" kind of laugh. OY.

I thought at the point it would be a nice juncture to take a look back on the pregnancy cravings and food milestones that have peppered this experience. Here goes, in order of craving:

Morning sickness phase:
Milkshakes ( had to be made by John)
Chocolate cake ( had to be homemade)
Grapefruit (whole grapefruits, many at a time)
Cracker of choice - water crackers, then Vanilla wafers, then cheez-its
Ginger ale (staple of any sick pregnant women)
That was pretty much it - nothing else really stayed in the tummy

Post-morning sickness:
Melon (any kind)/grapes/fresh fruit ( still)
Double stuffed oreo cookies ( 15 bags later - just tapered off)
Ruffles potato chips, ranch dip, baby snack carrots (still going on - great pre-dinner snack)
Coffee icecream or Chipwich Icecream Sandwiches (still)
French friends (brief, but intense)
Coco-krispies cereal, then Coco pebbles, then Cookie-crisp, then back to coco-krispies (for breakfast, lunch or dinner!!)
Tunafish sandwich/Tuna melt (perferably made by John - first animal I've eaten in 16 years!)
Bagels and Lox ( second animal eaten - that's all Sol!!)
Cranberry juice (could drink gallons if I let myself)
Milk (do drink gallons -esp with any kind of cereal or a good PB & J sandwich)

John could prob add a few to the list and of course, there are cravings that I cant have - margaritas and raw cookie dough -- it has certainly been an adventure!!
