Aunti Chel Chel, Sol and I traveled back to S. Fla this weekend to celebrate Mom's graduation with her PhD! It was an amazing, inspiring experience to watch your mom cross the stage and get hooded and even hugged by the university President. She deserved every minute of glory and celebration!!
Mom's friend Maralyn also threw me my first baby shower with all of mom's friends - it was a hoot! She had a really fun activity where each guest decorated a bib and burp cloth - I used it as the opportunity to ask Aunt Chel to be Sol's Godmother - she said yes, of course!!
All in all a wonderful, tiring, and well-fed weekend!!
